Rillo's Rookies

Today was the Eppies great race . . . the worlds oldest triathlon. Ev relayed with a few friends of ours and their team name was Rillo's rookies. Jill was the runner that handed off to Ev, Ev was the biker that handed off to Mark and Mark kayaked in to the finish line. Ev did 12.5 miles in 36 minutes and was thrilled with his time! They ended up getting 11th place in their division.

Sorry for the blurry shots . . . I had some serious camera shake going on . . . I really needed a tripod with my telephoto lens, but that just wasn't managable with the 5 kids I had with me :)

After the race they had this whole area set up for the kids with bounce houses, free cotton candy & popcorn, a rock wall, an inflatable velcro wall. It was AWESOME!!!
