You love picking me flowers. All things nature you adore. My world is filled with the beautiful gifts you present to me and I wouldn’t change that for the world. Keep on letting me see the world through your eyes. You help me stop and smell the roses.

My girl LO

Here's another one. I've got to submit my application by the 25th so I'm trying to fill up my gallery with all the pages that have been in my head. So here is another one :)

Journaling:
Oh how you loved your Lainie Boo when she joined our family. You called her “Waina” and wanted to hold your “Waina” all the time. We used to have to lock the door to our room when she was sleeping in the cradle in there. Because you would go and try to open the door, if you got it open you would just go and grab her out of the cradle. We found you once dragging her down the hallway and you were so proud of yourself. When Waina got older and was sleeping in her crib in the same room with you, we often had to intervene after bedtime. You would go get in her crib and jump around playing with her. We would hear these huge belly laughs coming from both of you in that room. You’ve adored your sister from the moment she came home. I hope it never changes.

It’s
tough
to be the
oldest in the
family. To have
to be more reposible
For your parents to have
high, high expectations of
you. You’re almost like a
practice child, we’re llearning
along with you as we’ve never done this before either. It’s tough to have younger siblings bothering you and always getting into your things. It’s tough, we know it is.But you rise to the challenge, you are kind & compassionate with your siblings. you
give Mom & Dad grace when we make
mistakes. You are reliable and
resposible. You rise to the
expectations put upon you
you excel in your school
work and don’t complain
We are so proud of the
young lady you have
become and the
effort you put
out. You are
a more than a
blessing
to us and
we love
you.

Sure there’s the ocassional bickering and arguing . . . some days it doesn’t feel occasioanl. But overall you love each other and look out for one another. You take the time to stop and examine your brother when he says something hurts. You just care. It’s important to love each other because you’ll have one another forever. Siblings are a gift from God.

This is my favorite picture of the summer. It just says carefree to me. The little bit of dirt on you barefeet with your white flowing skirt. Only in childhood can you truly be this
carefree. Times are quickly changing my girl. You are entering fifth grade and it seems like a lot of changes have come about. It makes me wonder how many more prefect carefree summers you have ahead of you. It makes me want to keep you little my girl. But the changes are coming.

Lainie singing

Lainie Boo learned Jesus Loves me with hand motions at school. It's too cute so I had to record it. My favorite part is when she sings "Little Ones to him Below"

My little doll, how much joy you bring to so many people
You have that goofy smile and quirky sense of humor.
People fall in love with you instantly - you just capture their hearts.
I love to watch you interact and I smile at your goofy jokes.
you have so much to offer this world and I’m so thankful
for how God made you
